Experience Designer + Innovation Coach
Susie is motivated by the simple belief that humans are by nature designers. In addition to collaborating with Designing Insights, she is the inaugural design entrepreneur-in-residence at Playworks, where she is building a new practice called Workswell. She is also a faculty member at the National Equity Project, and she teaches and coaches frequently at Stanford University’s d.school on a wide range of topics including design research, equity design, innovation practices, and storytelling.
Her past practice was focused in K-12 education, and she now purposefully uses those insights to work across sectors on culture building. She has also worked as a design strategist and innovation catalyst at Intuit, supporting innovators in the corporate software development context.
She holds a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Technology Design from Stanford University and a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
